Widely used by car dealers and rental agencies,
PDR is ERIE's method of choice for repairing most hail and parking lot damage. The technique promises convenience and quality so
that policyholders are back on the road sooner in cars, trucks
and vans restored to pre-damage condition.
As its name suggests, PDR requires no painting
so there is no risk of overspray or mismatched paint. The technique
does not use cutting, grinding or sanding either, and preserves
the original factory finish. The finish includes a protective
primer, paint and clear coat applied in a factory technique that
is difficult to reproduce in a body shop.
